I'm looking to scan a UNIX server that utilises a tool called Centrify that integrates to Active Directory.
The theory is that I should be able to set up a Windows Authentication record (not using NTLM) that will enable me to perform an Authenticated scan against the UNIX server. This is because the UNIX server, via Centrify, will make a call to the AD to confirm the authentication.
That’s the theory but I still think I need to scan with a UNIX record using a simple username and password.
Anyone got any thoughts or has even tried this?
