Question asked by Ashok Mohanty on Mar 11, 2019

Hi Friends,

I am trying to get hostname, dns and netbios using ip filter . I am using following api to achieve this but its not giving me host name instead giving me hostid.

>curl -u "USERNAME:PASSWORD" -H "X-Requested-With: Curl"
"https://qualysguard.qg.apps.qualys.com/api/2.0/fo/asset/host/?action=list&ips=xx.xxx.xx.xxx"

Output:

<HOST_LIST_OUTPUT>
<RESPONSE>
<DATETIME>2019-03-12T05:42:08Z</DATETIME>
<HOST_LIST>
<HOST>

<IP>xxxxxx</IP>
<TRACKING_METHOD>IP</TRACKING_METHOD>
<NETWORK_ID>xxxxx</NETWORK_ID>
<DNS>xxxxx</DNS>
<OS>xxxxx</OS>
</HOST>
</HOST_LIST>
</RESPONSE>
</HOST_LIST_OUTPUT>

Is there any other api which give hostname through ip filtering?
