Adding flags to SDC with unix commands

Hi,

I was first wondering if it's possible to add Custom Defined Controls which can execute unix commands. My original use case was to run "ps aux" and then grep for certain file location and check the owner of the process. But I found another post in here which brought me to CID 8375.

From the description of this CID, it executes the ps command and the output should be name, process identification numbers (PIDs) information of CPU/Memory usage, a brief description, user information but the output is not what I would expect for example:

root:604:svlogd

I can understand svlogd is a process owned by root and with PID 604 but I don't know the location/CPU/Memory of the running process to investigate. So I'm not sure what I can do to make this more verbose, perhaps add additional flags to the command ps but I don't think this is possible.

Ideally I would just create a control that would let me find running processes from certain folders and return their owner and PID. Is this possible?

Suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark.
