The summary shows no colors when printed.
I know how good an A-rating is but management wants a Visual conformation wich I can't give them.
Try selecting the option to print backgrounds in your browser. When I do this, I get a very colorful print out. See the attached PDF for a sample.
Several things; A you might want to talk to your Tam about Certview; the reporting is not present like I want but I am told it is coming.
I would need to check the API Documentation for SSL Labs and see if I can generate a PDF via the API.
Short term it may be a screen capture type. I believe both Firefox and Chrome have plugins for this.
Let me know if you would like to check the API Docs. If I do and it is beneficial then perhaps I can wright a little tool for everyone.
Graphs are strangely printed. Grade is A+, but graphs to the rights shows 10% for all categories.
I tested the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on macOS and the graphs printed correctly. Do you mind sharing which browser and OS you are using?
What browser am I using?
I haven't tested printing, I was just referring to your attached PDF from above post on Jan 30. PDF opened in PDF viewer and green bars are only 10% displayed.
If everything is working fine, then just ignore my message. It was just a small comment to your PDF file.
Odd, I open the PDF in Preview on macOS and the green bars are correct. Of course, even the Portable Document Format cannot be perfectly rendered across different apps and operating systems. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sorry for late reply. I am using SumatraPDF on Windows 7 this is the first time I am having any kind of problem with PDF file. But opening PDF file directly in Firefox using build-in PDF viewer and it displays graph fine. There may be:
- not the best created PDF file and/or
- bug in SumatraPDF viewer.
That PDF was created by Google Chrome 72 on macOS 10.14. Chrome uses Google's Skia library and that file is marked as PDF version 1.4. That version of PDF was defined by Adobe in 2001. I understand wanting to use any other PDF viewer than Adobe Acrobat (and Google is far from flawless), but I'm betting on bug in SumatraPDF viewer. ;-)
I tried and I tried and I tried
I can't get no Edge reaction….
Chrome did it for me
Thanks a lot for the help provided!
I should not have assumed you were using Chrome or Safari. I'm glad you figured it out!
