We have small powershell script that would run on a Windows server 2008 R2 host, on a schedule and, would populate the test results for a few required hosts as:
ssllabs-scan.exe --grade --hostfile hosts.txt

It has been working for the past 1.5 years until the past week when, it gave us the following error:

[ERROR] HTTP request failed: Get https://api.ssllabs.com/api/v2/info: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority (ref#2)

I am assuming that this is similar to the issue below:
Issue --> https://github.com/golang/go/issues/16589

My questions are:

  • If am right and it's related to the issue mentioned above, then how was it working until past week? Any suggestion on what might have changed? We've been using Comodo signed certificates since the beginning (i.e. roughly for 4 years).
    -Any suggestions on the fix for this issue?

Thanking in anticipation.
