Force a Cloud Agent to Re-register?

We have a number of Windows servers that are built as snap shots from a golden image. This understandable doesn't play nicely with the QCA, or indeed most agent based tools, as multiple servers end up with the same GUID information and aren't properly treated as unique hosts.

I've worked with agents before where if you delete the relevant reg key or config file entries, set a certain config flag in a config file, or run a "sys-prep" type command, it will cause it to strip out GUID type information such that it will then re-register as a new asset once its back online.

Does anyone know if its possible to reset the QCA from the local host in this way to cause it to re-register?
