We've recently configured an EC2 connector and it readily discovered our AWS assets and tagged them with "EC2 AWS". However, several of the assets already had the Cloud Agent installed and were in our inventory. The EC2 connector didn't recognize these as the same asset and instead, created a duplicate.
The online help specifically says there are two ways to now start scanning -- virtual appliance or install Cloud Agents. Well...the Cloud Agents are there but not recognized as the same asset. I've attached a screen shot.
We are using Qualys Express, with Agent version 188.8.131.52 deployed uniformly. I'd like to get this information merged so not to confuse things and mess up our inventory.
