I have four scanners that I need to do a Light Inventory scan with on a /13, /14 and /15 networks. What are some best practices for doing this and how long would you think each subnet would take to scan?
Thanks in advance
The time taken to scan id dependent on a bunch of practical situations like #of live hosts, open ports, running services, Qualys Option profile, network condition and behavior etc. The light inventory scan happens on 160 ports TCP and recommended with authentication only for best results.
If all the IP's across your subnets are reachable to all scanners then probably, you can choose "All Scanners in AG" option while selecting a scanner for the job so that the automatic "Micro-slicing" kicks in and runs it faster with all scanners being optimally used simultaneously.
