I have a customer where Windows authentication is working but *nix is not. Would be interested in hearing if other customers are having problems with this too.
I have also question about Lieberman. Does Qualys support Lieberman RED - Rapid Enterprise Defense?
Based on Lieberman website Lieberman RED is formerly known as Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM), which is Supported by Qualys. Does anyone know how to setup credential details to choose for scans specific account which is stored in RED under Shared Passwords list?
I've never had the chance to configure a vault, but here are links that may be helpful:
How to use vaults - will walk you through the setup
Vault Support Matrix - all supported vaults listed
Thanks Shyam. Links don't explain if RED=ERPM for Qualys and how to choose specific account stored in RED.
I cannot parse your question, can you rewrite? If you are asking if you can use specific credentials for specific scans, and other credentials for other scans the answer is no. Credentials are asset-specific not scan specific.
When I login to Lieberman RED I can retrieve password for two accounts. One account is dedicated to me and is under "Managed Passwords" section and the other one is under "Shared Passwords". Question is how I can tell Qualys that I want to use let say first account for Qualys scans.
I used to work for Lieberman (now Bomgar) and their Tier 1-3 support is top notch. I'd recommend the you and/or the customer open a call with Lieberman/Bomgar on this issue and have a joint support call with them, I can pretty much guarantee they can work through the issue in one session. If the *nix device is managed in RED today, creating and managing a new credential is very low friction. If it is not yet managed, that is also not hard to change to a managed state.
