Authentication for servers with mulitple aliases

I have the following scenario.  I have a server that has multiple aliases associated with it.  For example, when I do an nslookup on the IP I will get back server1.domain.com.  When I perform another nslookup, it returns server2.domain.com.  A third nslookup (on the same IP) yields server3.domain.com.   It keeps repeating in this "round robbin" fashion.

I have the IP tracked by DNS.  When I look at my authentication report for this asset group, I see that it is successful for the first instance of the IP that it finds, but fails on subsequent ones.  "Unable to complete login for host="IP ADDRESS", user="Username".  I am assuming that this simply means that the authentication account has been set up on only the first DNS name for the IP.

Has anybody seen this before?

Thanks,

Paul
