Each week I must create reports for maps and download their.
I would like to automate this operation.
I have access to Vulnarebility Management with a Scanner Profile, is it suffisant ?
In fact, to be more specific, check out the Developer section of the community for coding examples, API documentation and similar targeted discussions.
For your specific use case, launching a map report, have a look at page 86 of the v2 API user guide which covers the Launch Report function, via the Report API:
curl -H "X-Requested-With: Curl Sample"
-b "QualysSession=71e6cda2a35d2cd404cddaf305ea0208; path=/api;
Action: (Launches a scan report based on template 552469 in PDF format)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<!DOCTYPE GENERIC SYSTEM
<TEXT>New report launched</TEXT>
Via the UI, we can't schedule a "maps report" at this moment. I am sure there is a good reason.
Would a scheduled map with email notifications not work as an workaround. It does contain similar data.
Open a FR if you wish your TAM and Qualys support.
Hello Deb J,
Thanks you for your response.
In fact I tought to use the command "curl".
In first time, is-it possible to create report for maps with line command curl and the api ?
And if it is possible, my profile Scanner with access at Vulnarebility Management seems not suffisant to access at this command curl. Must I ask to the administrator, rights to access the module "WAS" and at the API QUALYS ?
okay, install the curl package if using windows or use unix or anything that runs a client side curl library.
Use the map function using an API call. This should work fine.
