I am running an email server that allows TLS connections for security. I have one customer who is having a problem sending to us because they use a Cisco IronPort and when it tries to negotiate it only sends RC4 ciphers. We don't allow RC4 on this Windows server so the connection gets dropped. They are unwilling/unable to change their system to add additional ciphers on their side. Anybody have any feelings on this whether I should just say see ya, or add the RC4 ciphers back onto our machine? This is the only inbound server we have seen this behavior from, so it's hard for me to just allow it to appease one customer.
Thanks in advance,
