I recently re-keyed my server and switched from an RSA certificate with an SHA-1 signature to an RSA certificate with an SHA-256 signature. The certificate was issued by GoDaddy. GoDaddy issued new intermediate certificates with the rekey (those are installed, and I removed the old intermediate certificates used with the old cert from the server). After the switch, I'm receiving the following notations in the certificate trust check when testing the server:
Chain Issues - Not Trusted as Supplied
and one of the certificate chains shows:
(subject/issuer name chaining check failed)
Can you take a look at the analysis and see what's wrong? Did GoDaddy make a mistake with one of their intermediate certs? (I can't imagine they did).
