Are there QIDs for vulnerabilities for TCP ports 16992 and 16994 and, if so, are those detected with a remote discovery or authenticated?
Are you trying to find machines that have these ports turned on? If that is the case, I don't think it's possible in VM, but it would definitely be possible to find this information out in Policy Compliance.
Thank you for the response. Actually, I had some advice from our TAM, and found a way to get the information I need using (1) Asset Search in the VM, and I am also exploring (2) Asset Tag feature that enable grouping together hosts that have specified open ports.
Did you do an asset search on all IP's that have that port open?
Yes, did an asset search but I found that running a report on the asset tag was more fliexible and easier to get the results into a report format I wanted.
This is just showing you what servers have the port open, it doesn't show you vulnerabilities for that port, correct?
That is correct. It's a two step process, like folk dancing.
