Importing qualys reports to MSQL or SQLite3

I am working on getting the enormous qualys reports into usefully-sized reports.  I started with just taking the csv outputs and breaking them out by platform.  Now my managers want to have counts of QIDs, severity and age of vulnerability.  I have started working on the idea of creating database tables in SQLite3 (at least for testing) and MySQL (for production).  My Py-code is at https://github.com/wolf29/csv-edit/blob/master/reader06.py

if you want a giggle.  The data-munging aspects are at a very low-level https://github.com/wolf29/csv-edit/blob/master/test071.py

Help or comment appreciated.

I have been looking at the APIs a bit, but I have not yet found anything that would help with this report-data => database conversion.
