Error status on scans

When I try to run scans I get "Scan canceled on scanner appliance xxx".


I get one more message:

"One QualysGuard Scanner Appliance with the name xxx failed the
Heartbeat Check. We detected that the Scanner Appliance did not update the
software because the appliance did not contact the QualysGuard Secure Operations
Center for at least four hours. The last software update occurred on
04/13/2012 at 10:45:49 (GMT)."


What can I do to check that appliance can access required sites?
