Qualys Support Portal

Qualys Customer Support now offers a limited alpha rollout of Support Live Chat alpha, which will be available to most customers via Customer Support Portal. Here are the details of the Customer Support Portal https://blog.qualys.com/news/2016/12/09/announcing-the-qualys-customer-portal. The Qualys Support Live Chat allows customers to text-chat with Qualys Support in real-time.  As this as an alpha rollout, service availability, performance and response is not guaranteed. Please see the details below on the availability and other details


How to access the Support Live chat alpha?

After you’ve logged into your Qualys Cloud Suite account, click “Help” on the top right and select Contact Support

Click on “Customer Support Portal”. This will open the Support Portal window where the user will see all the case they have access to view. The video provides a quick overview of the options available for use in the Support Portal.


Currently only users with Manager or Unit Manager role on Qualys platform are being provided access to able to view all open support tickets, lower level users will only see the tickets they’ve opened.

Qualys Support Live chat can be found as a floating icon at the bottom of the screen. Below are screenshots of when the chat is ONLINE and OFFLINE



Timeframe when the Support Live chat alpha be online to customers to user?

As part of the alpha release, Qualys Support Live chat will only be ONLINE for customers to users between 7:30pm to 6:00am Pacific time (which is 10:30pm to 9am Eastern time)
