You may run into a situation where you are unable to make any schedule changes to a Malware Detection Scan schedule in the Malware Detection Module.  The most likely scenario is that the asset was created and scheduled within the Web Application Scan (WAS) module.  To easily identify which asset or schedule was created in the WAS module simply look for the blue "WAS" label in front of the asset or schedule name.  You will not be able to edit the schedule of an asset created in WAS.   You will need to go to the WAS module and edit the application that is being scanned.  In the "Malware Monitoring" tab you can modify the schedule or disable the malware scan by unchecking "Enable Malware Monitoring for this web application".  The screenshots below will provide guidance.

The schedule "Qualys MDS2" below was created in the MDS module (there is no blue "WAS" label in front of the schedule name).  In this scenario you will be able to edit the schedule within the Malware Detection module.

To edit a Malware Detection scan created in the WAS module you will need to go to the Web Application Scanning module and edit the application used for the Malware Detection scan.  Within the edit screen on the "Malware Monitoring" tab you can change the schedule or disable/enable the Malware Detection scan.  (See Screenshot Below)
