Overview

The following matrix provides detailed information on the specific virtualization and cloud technologies and versions which have been fully qualified for use as the operating platform for the Qualys Virtual Scanner Appliance.

Customers are not restricted only to these platforms when deploying the virtual scanner appliance, and the virtual scanner appliance can be reasonably expected to function on other similar versions and platforms.  Customers are also free to perform conversions to other packaging and virtual hard drive formats (e.g., qcow, raw).  However, Qualys is only able to fully support those specific platforms and versions which have gone through our full qualification process and which are available for testing in our own labs, listed below.

If you wish to request full qualification of a virtualization or cloud platform not listed below, please notify your Qualys Technical Account Manager (TAM) and/or Qualys Support so that they may properly register this request with Qualys Product Management.

For more details on the virtual scanner appliance, see Reference: Qualys Virtual Scanner Appliance.
