Now that all platforms have been upgraded to a minimum of QualysGuard 6.18, we will begin converting Pi (314159265358979) and Golden Ratio (161803399999999) to check boxes in the policy editor, providing clear translation of these special values.  In addition, policy reports will no longer display these special values; only the translated values.

The schedule provided below will begin the conversion of Pi and Golden Ratio and will be continually be updated to provide ongoing progress and status during the conversion:

*To see a list of Controls affected, please click on the number in the "Controls" column above.

As these Controls are converted, the Policy Editor will convert the current expected values to the appropriate check boxes.  We recommend opening your policies and verfiy the conversion.  When opening a policy, a warning will be displayed for all controls that have been converted in the policy.  Please review the updated expected values and save your policy.    If you do not save the policy, the expected values may not be fully converted, thus causing failures on reports.  To see a demo of this new feature, please view the Improved Policy Editor and Reporting Demo.

As of June 6, 2011, all new controls will use check boxes to convert Pi and Golden Ratio.
